This largeantique sterling silver tea ball infuser inacornshape by is about 2\" high, 1-5/8\" in diameter. The total weight is 11 g. or7.1 dwt. It is marked witha logo that looks like a script B with a sword at the bottom, possibly the mark of Blackinton, but it is hard to be sure. It has an interesting construction, since there is no hinge, and the chain starts at the bottom where it is held in place with a silver ball, goes through the inside of the body and continues through the top. The condition isfairly good. There areseveral shallow dents or dings on the body. They could be removed by a silversmith without much difficulty.
