A trulystunning & rare Scottish 9ct Gold Brooch set with a gorgeous Moss Agate,which dates to the Victorian Era circa 1880.It is much more common tofind Agate set in Silver from the Victorian Period and the use of solid Gold isindicative of a higher quality of jewellery, which has warrantedthe useof the very finest precious metals.(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'sdescription).

This finequality antique Brooch is in great condition with only natural surface marks onthe Agate, which is normal for genuine Agate jewellery of the period. The Goldmount is stamped \'9ct\' on the reverse, which is typical of gold jewellery madeduring this period, confirmingthat it is made from solid 9ct Gold. It haslost the pin off the end of the safety chain - otherwise quite superb.
