Description:
-Youare offerding on an antique Arts & Crafts style leaded-glass transom window,which was taken from a house built in the late 1920’s. It is rather large,measuring ~69¾ wide, by ~17 5/8” tall.
-Ithas a lovely period pattern which forms a graceful arch, and was originallyplaced over the front entry-way of the house.
Condition:
-There is one piece of brokenglass which will need to be replaced.
-There are some cracks to the“welds” of the lead connections
-There are some wear to thewood including some chips to the frame here and there, particular along the“moulding” area. The paint is worn and cracked, particularly at the woodenjoints.
-Overall,this old transom still displays very well, and could be a great addition to anarchitectural project!
