For international shipping, we will refund any over payment of shipping. We have a flat 300 dollar rate (for select countries only) posted which we will not exceed as well. The weight is in excess of 70 pounds so we will be shipping the piece in separate packages most likely. The bronzes are bolted to the base and will need to be re-bolted to the base upon receipt. This is so as to not put undo stress on the bronze supports and risk damage to the supports during shipping.

We\'ve contacted through email Morris Singer Founders to learn more about the original commission of this piece and the Artist. Morris Singer founders responded that the foundry has since found new owners and attempted for us to contact the former management regarding the piece and were unable to find any more information.

Morris Singer Foundry is world famous with pieces they have forged for artists selling occasionally millions at sale.

We cannot track down the artist. (perhaps you can?) We do know that the artist had the foresight to make the two sculptures separate and distinct pieces (for you Diana fans or you Fans of the Prince each could be displayed separately as they are not attached and both the foundry mark and artist\'s signature is on each piece.) We suspect this piece was created to commemorate the royal wedding but ultimately don\'t know. The piece appears to have rust on the bolts indicative of that age.

If you have no hand in this game and would like to enlighten us as to the history and nature of this piece, please do so.

For you buyers, we can find nothing similar made while the couple was still together (!) of this size and uniqueness. This appears to be an absolute one of a kind sculpture of the \"People\'s\" princess and her prince. This is the princess who came from modest means and then dedicated her life to those in need and it is one of our favorite pieces here at CUGalleries.
