DescriptionMy collecting urge has now meant I have completely run out of room. Rather than give up, it is time for me to sell some of my favourite items, so I can create space to buy some more! I have other similar cool stuff to sell, so please check out my other sales!Here we have a REALLY COOL carving. It is a traditional canoe prow from the Solomon Islands. I believe it is called a Nguzugnuzu. It features a mother of pearl inlaid head, underneath is a frigate bird (representing navigation). There is some damage on the bottom so please look at the photographs and read the condition section beneath.This is a really great piece and displays well against a plain background.Grab yourself a gem. The frigate bird has lost the tip of its beak, and also both wings have snapped off. I guess a nasty fall. I have shown this in the photographs. BUT to be honest as they are on the base and the head is so impressive it is not really as noticeable as it should be. This is reflected in the sale starting price.
