Large Chinese 16th / 17th Century Junyao Vase w/ Purple & Blue Splashes:

This large Chinese Junyao vase is decorated with a rich bubble-suffused glaze adorned with magnificent splashes and streaks of various shades of purple and blue. It dates from the late 16th Century to the early 17th Century. It measures approximately 12 inches high, 3 + 5/8 inches across the mouth, and 4 + 3/8 inches across the foot rim. It is of fine quality and is in excellent condition with the exception of crazing, rim fritting on the foot rim (only visible from the underside), and an age line on one side just below a rim repair, as can be seen in the photos.
