I am offering the largest Chinese antique warrior crackle ware bowl I have seen, which is in great condition considering age and use it has survived very well with no chips cracks or enamel losses. There is minor wear to the interior, the center medalion, a Buddha? which appears a little dull, it was possibly used for punch. The highlight is the exterior which is brightly decorated with famille rose verte soldiers marching on foot with shields and waving swords plus four warriors on horseback with attendants .A very exciting scene bright colors intact.. There are two hand carved borders one appears to be foliage and flowers found on the better pieces, the lower one water waves in iron oxide..12in. wide, 4 3/4in. tall. 4.5lb., foot rim 1/2in. Signed.
