Florida Conch - 9\" long
This is an OLD Florida conch! I found this (empty of all life - I do NOT harvest living or occupied shells!) on a shelling trip in Florida below Marco Island, on anuninhabited island in the 10,000 Islands area. Our captain was a local, and really knew the waterways, and took us to places we never would have found on our own - and only accessible by boat! Great fun!
We are down-sizing and de-stashing, and this wonderful old shell needs a new home.
Shell is just over 9\" long; about 4 1/2\" at the widest point; just over 4\" tall.
It has barnacles growing on it, and a small amount of Florida sand comes included free ;) (I don\'t care how hard I try, I can\'t seem to get it ALL out!).
