A LARGE stunning KAYAM 100% Wool Handmade & Knotted Traditional Chinese Floral Quality Rug/Carpet. PLEASE ALSO SEE MY OTHER RUGS FOR SALE.
This rug has a beautiful 17th century French Aubusson Inspired design that was used mostly by the Royals at this time. With a cream background the hand carved flowers, roses and swirls come to life with their colours being Creams, pinks, beiges, coppers, browns, golds, blues and greens, etc. A rare design having a circular centre.The rug is in EXCELLENT condition, and it has justbeen cleaned to freshen it for the new owners. (photos were taken after cleaning...there are no marks on the rug, so anything you can see if shadowing because of it being slightly damp from the clean.The size of the rug is approximately 230cm x 151cm (7.6ft x 4.10ft)including fringe. It is just under 1 inch thick and soft underfoot, and good and heavy. This would not look out of place in a Contemporary flat, traditional Georgian/Victorian House or Shabby Chic French Cottage or Villa.I also have many other rugs for sale and coming up for sale in
