Impressive large hand hammered copper charger by San Francisco craftsman Harry Dixon. Dixon is well known for his arts & crafts era copper work, both in his own shops and with Dirk van Erp. Charger measures 17-3/4\" in diameter and about 2-1/2\" deep.
Good to Fair condition, surface looks to have been cleaned some time ago, dark patina remains on reverse. There\'s two small holes drilled in the the base, probably it was strung up to hang on the wall. Not sure if this is original to manufacture. Surface has numerous small scuffs, oxidation, blemishes -- no major dents or damage. Marked as shown, not sure if the marks in ink on back are original to the piece.
