These do need a polishing, and the top square candle holders are removable for easier cleaning.  There are some twists in the metal, right under the cups, probably from sound.

These are very pretty 12 inch tall candlesticks.  Made by Columbia, Columbia was a silver company in the 1950\'s and 1960\'s in Brooklyn.  Now, most of the other candlesticks or candle holders that you see bearing their name will say that they are weighted.  These are not marked \"weighted,\" just \"sterling Columbia.\"  There is, very likely, some filler used, but it significantly less than the amount used that would need the marking stamped on them.

They are quite heavy, weighing over two pounds, or a combined 933 grams, exactly 30 troy ounces, standing one foot tall.
