This stunning statue features a cherub-like child perched on a tiered pedestal holding an open-mouthed fish.
The heavy gold gilt piece has an \'aged\' finish, appears to be made of plaster or other stone composite -- our guess only based on examining the little chip on one bottom corner.
Measures 16-1/2\" tall X 7\" X 8\" -- very heavy
CONDITION: previously owned, no information on age/origin. There is a chip/rubbed paint on one lower corner, could be easily touched up, no breaks or cracks/repairs. Some rubbing here/there -- some gold rubbed off on top of head (see close-up). There is some white showing where the figurine rests on the pedestal which looks like an easy touch-up project.
