Probably intended for roses or punch, on offer is a high quality sterling / solid silver bowl hallmarked Sheffield 1909, maker Mappin & Webb. With leaf and spiral motif. No monograms or inscriptions.

Diamaeter19cm. Height 12 cm. Weightan impressive381 grams of solid silver. Four small split to top rim of bowl (stable), dent to inner neck of pedestal base anda few spots of stubborn tarnish to inside.Otherwise, as photos indicate, a handsome display pierce in working order.
