This \"Shlangenvasen\" measures approx. 15 1/4\'\' tall.
Baluster form, the gilt gadrooned rim flanked by paired coiled serpent handles terminated with acanthus leaves above a band of Vitruvian scrolls, the shoulder with braid, the lower section with a further band of gilt gadroons, on conforming socle and gilt fluted flaring foot. Marked on the bottom with under glazed blue crossed swords and \"29\" and incised \"8E116\".
