Up for sale is this magnificent pair of antique still life chromolithographs of fruit. The one without the watermelon is marked Published by Hallen & Weiner NY, I did not see a marking on the other. These are in matching Victorian frames that are every bit of not more attractive than the still life\'s. My guess is that they have been refinished at some point, and while they do still have some minor imperfections, wear, dings, small scratches, etc, you can proudly hang them in a prominent place in your home just as they are. Both have relatively fresh back paper on them. The chromolithographs are in decent condition, from a distance they look great, but there is a lot of edge stains, pretty much all around the Watermelon one, on the right side of the other. There is also a crease toward the left side of the Watermelon one, once again really only visible from up close. I feel the glass is original in both, but they do not have that super wavy look to them. The only flaw I saw to either piece was about a 3\" scratch below the second peach and leaf in the Watermelon one. These measure about 25 1/4\" x 21 1/4\", with about 19 3/8\" x 15 1/2\" visible area.
