A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Portrait Pendant of circular form dating to c1900, which has a beautiful Pearl set surround & bale(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
Thiswonderfulantique Portrait Pendant, which weighs 15.1 grams,has a diameter of approx\' 4.0cms and a drop of approx\' 5.0cms including the bale. As shown, itcurrentlyholds a painted miniature portrait and a photograph, which are original to it. Typical of the periodit is stamped \'15ct\' on the reverse side, as shown, confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold.This finest quality Portrait Pendant has a removable \'pull out\' to change the portraits, but I have not attempted to open it.
Overall this beautiful Pendant is in great condition, as shown; it appears to have all of it\'s original Pearls, which are well matched. Commensurate with age there are a couple of light scratches to the glazed panels and there is a really tiny bull\'s eye chip to the glazed panel at the front where it meets the gold frame (which isn\'t really really noticeable but mentioning for descriptivecompleteness).
In summary, this is a wonderful Victorian 15ct Gold Pearl set Portrait Pendant of circular form dating to c1900- it is quite simply sublime.
