An exceptional, fine and impressive large antique Russian silver gilt and polychrome cloisonné enamel spoon; this exceptional antique Russian silver spoon has a large circular bowl onto a shaped stem.The reverse surface of the large bowl is embellished with cloisonné enamel workwith applied silver paralleling rope twist ornamentation...of a white Flag, crown emblem and floral design using various tones of green, blue, white and red sections of polychrome enamel, on a gilt background.
This large spoon terminates with a solomonic/barley-sugar style hand piece, flanked with blue toned Russian cloisonné enamel decorated alternating bead and spindle design, in addition to a tear drop ornamented finial.the handle incorporates a lobed knop to the shoulders.
