Large UNUSUAL Vintage 40s Triple Irish Chain Antique Quilt ~HEARTS & SWAG BORDER!

This BEAUTIFUL cotton 40\'s triple Irish chain quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with unusual appliqued hearts in the background and nice swag and tassel border.

The quilt measures a generous 78\" X 94\" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots (hard to find) and no wear. The quilt is strong and sturdy overall.

There is quilting around the piecework and applique and in straight line designs in the background, all at 6 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid lavender used in the background, and the batting is thin.
