Large VINTAGE Hand-Stitched Quilt Top GRANDMOTHER\'S FLOWER GARDEN 92 X 78 (DC40):

This lovely vintage Grandmother\'s Flower Garden Quilt TOP was packed away in a chest by the daughter of its maker, It is beautifully hand-stitched, each piece individually. Many bright colors, each print and solid carefully coordinated. There are NO rips, fraying, loose seams, or problems with this top. There is 1 small area that shows some aging- see picture #7. In addition, there is a 1/4\" spot- picture #8. I believe that all will soak out. Fabric is strong, although many of the fabrics were NOT new, when the quilt was made. I found 2 hexagons, each with a flaw- See picture #11. All the colors are lovely and bright. It measures 92 by 76 inches and is shown on my queen-sized bed. The edges are not finished and it could be added to.Picture #10 is representative of the high quality stitching throughout!
