Vintage paper mache Easter Bunny Rabbit Candy Container. This is a large rabbit, standing 9-¼” from tip of ears to tip of toes. The “basket” he carries on his back has an opening of about 2-¼” or more (inner dimension). The white rabbit has pink and green accents and red painted eyes with black dots and a line for nose & mouth adding to his alert expression. A lavender strip of cloth is tied in a bow around the neck. This has a nylon feel to it. One side is textured. I am not sure what it is made of but it is not a standard ribbon and I am not sure if it is original.The bunny has a few problems! It has some surface flakes to the finish (bottom edge, tips of ears, nose, a leg, and other edges), some small scattered yellow or brown spots, and a hint of dinginess.
