Thispretty papier mache Easter egg candy container has a chick hatching from an egg on one side and two bunny rabbits surrounded by pussywillow on the other side. It measures 6 1/4" long, 4 3/8" wide and 4" high. Lined in paper covered with gold stars, and has a lacy paper edge around one side. There's also a label that says "Huyler New York" - Huyler's was a candy and restaurant chain in the New York City metropolitan area which was in business beginning in the 19th Century (in 1883 their candy factory was located in downtown Manhattan at Irving Place and 18th St.). The outside top and bottom edges have red paper trim all around, but missing a 2" piece on the bottom and 1 1/2" on the top edge - not too distracting since it's red and blends in to the background. Otherwise in excellent condition with no other problems to report. Please see my other sales for another egg candy container - I'm happy to combine on shipping.
