Fabulous! Large, vintage signed Sterling Silver Fish Brooch with Bubbles, made by Viking Craft and dates to circa 1940. A strong stylized design, the Sterling Fish has beautifully scalloped fins, as one would see as it flowed underwater. The Fish is blowing three bubbles, which are graduated in size. The body of the fish is smooth and accented by the articulated stylized fins. The Brooch measures 2 3/4\" x 2 1/4\"; a considerable size with considerable heft. It is hallmarked on the reverse, Viking Craft, patent, Sterling. A wonderful piece in very good condition. To note, Viking Craft was founded by Albert Horwig in New York City, 1938. Their Sterling pieces of substantial quality, similar to fine Scandinavian and fine Mexican Jewelry of the first half of the 20th Century. An example of Albert Horwig\'s Viking Craft pieces is in the collection of Yale University Art Gallery (American Decorative Arts). The Viking Craft Sterling Fish Brooch with Bubbles is a fine example of design and craftsmanship. It show very well in the photographs and just as wonderful in person. OUR RETURN POLICY: This item is eligible for return. Return eligibility requires that the Buyer contact us via within 14 days of receiving to notify us of the return. The returning item must be in the original condition as when sent and placed in the mail within 15 days of original delivery date.
