Ihave for sale a beautiful 1880s German ting tang quarter strikingbracket clock made by Winterhadler & Hoffmeir which has had acharmed life in simply stunning condition , fully serviced waxedcase so looking and running very good.

TheCase

Thecase is in solid oak with stunning carvings , she has been waxedwell over the years and stands 16.5” high x 12.5 wide with a depthof 7.5” the case is in great condition , with both catches and athick bevelled glass front door keeps the beautiful face in greatcondition.

TheDial

Thedial is in original condition it is made from brass with a silveredchapter ring with Roman numerals and black ornate hands all totallyoriginal to this clock,

TheMovement

Themovement is an eight day time and strike which strikes the quarterhours and halves and the three quarters on two large gongs to therear, the movement is signed by the maker on the rear plate, thismovement was cleaned and serviced about six months ago and keepsgreat time over the eight days and still retains the key and matchingpendulum.

Themovement has thick heavy plates a real quality movement signed on theback plate.

Overalla very rare clock that looks great on display keeping great time andlooking and sounding even better, the clock is mega heavy so postagewill cost a bit sorry.
