#5236 Here are two large pieces of quilt top made in the 1940\'s in the Apple Core pattern. These pieces are hand pieced; one measures 12 X 66 inches, and the larger is 22 X75 inches. The fabrics are beautiful and bright. There are many feed sack prints and some lovely juvenile prints, lots of florals, printed stripes and checks, some solids. The apple cores are 6 1/2 inch long, 4 inches across little points (widest point of core), and 2 3/4 across the narrowest portion-unfinished sizes--they are 1/4 inch smaller all around when they are pieced together.The pieces are unused, excellent.
