Large vintage Mid Century walnut planter George Nelson Paul Mayen Habitat modern:

Up for sale is a vintage modern walnut and chrome planter. I think this is a Paul Mayen or George Nelson design for Habitat, but I am not positive. What I am sure of, is that this thing is really sharp, and more like a piece of furniture. It\'s made walnut covered plywood with chromed bar stock legs/feet, and a spun or pressed aluminum pot. The chrome has pitting and the wood has some very small veneer chips, as well as some scratches. With all that mentioned, it still looks great, as you can see and could be refinished, or used as is. The aluminum insert pulls right out if needed. The dimensions are 17 inches high, 16 across inches corner to corner, or 14 inches across flat side to flat side. The aluminum insert is 11 inches across plus a 1/2 inch flat lip, and 10 inches deep.
