As a young boy, when all his friends where collecting baseball cards, Larry was working on his true love, collecting Christmas ornaments. All of the neighbors knew of his obsession with Christmas ornaments so they gave him their old ornaments & he lovingly decorated all of their Christmas trees.

In 1995, Larry chose to make his living designing Christmas ornaments, so he flew to Germany & met with some ornament manufacturers.  Being a collector himself for many years, he liked to collect the different & the unusual.  

From day one in 1995, Larry\'s designs were a hit. In early 1997, Larry changed the name to Larry Fraga Designs, & at the same time he began using his own original designs & molds.  The line became so popular that the original Larry Fraga Designs production using Larry\'s molds had to be doubled.

Larry creates his visions by drawing the design on paper with pencil working out the dynamics of the mold & how the glass can be stretched in the mold without breaking when the mold is opened.  After the mold is made & the glass is blown into an ornament, Larry creates his magic, bringing the ornament to life with bold bright colors & glitters that Larry mixes himself.

In the beginning, Larry ordered blank ornament blown from his molds. They were delivered to Larry\'s workshop silvered & then Larry, along with his oldest son, Raul, would paint all day to fill orders.  Larry\'s dedication to creating a quality product, has made his hand-painted ornaments very highly collectable & hard to find in the secondary markets today.  Larry is a very hands-on artist giving attention to the details of every ornament from start to finish.

With an exceptionally creative imagination, a fine eye, & a flair for colors, Larry takes special pride in his work.  He mixes all of his glitters by hand to make own unique creation & look.  Larry designs a traditional look with a European style & with a Victorian charm. 

Larry Fraga Designs ornaments are all mouth blown, as they were 100 years ago & are hand- painted by crafts people in Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Italy. Each of the factories hand-picks the best painters to work on Larry\'s line so each painter is a skilled craftsman of the trade.

Up for sale is Larry Fraga\'s \"WISPY WINDS\", a Roger\'s Gardens Exclusive LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 100 PIECES.  Simply stunning & rarely seen in the secondary market!  This ornament is fully loaded with glitter & can be hung on your tree or put up as a standing visual in an arrangement on a table or mantel.

This is one of three that I am offering. In excellent condition, it is difficult, by the picture, to show the size of this ornament & how cute it really is! 

Production year - 2002.  

I can only verify originality through the photo attached from the back of a Roger\'s Gardens flyer I always received in the mail every 6 months that introduces Larry Fraga\'s designs as a line they were adding to their offerings.  The original box & hang tag have gone missing, but one can see, in my own handwriting, the confirmation number that I noted upon ordering these ornaments from Roger\'s Gardens in 2002.

PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION & PROVIDE VERIFICATION OF ORIGINALITY & of my items are vintage & fairly aged; accordingly, there may be issues with individual pieces that are associated with the passage of time.  All of my ornaments have been displayed on Christmas trees for many years.  Each piece is gently used and may exhibit minor glitter loss and/or paint anomalies due to the vintage quality of the item.  

I have looked each of them over to detect any major flaws. Any serious damage, fading or discoloration that I can perceive will be disclosed; however small flaws (i.e. imperfections in the glaze/paint, etc.) may be missed.

ALL OF MY HOLIDAY COLLECTIONS HAVE BEEN STORED IN A TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED Environment IN OUR SMOKE-FREE, PET-FRIENDLY HOME.
