Approximately 2-3/4 inches in length and 2-1/4 inches across.
Here is a SUPER RARE 25+ year old Butler Wilson brooch which was made after the brooch designed by King Edward VIII for Wallis Simpson, later The Duchess of Windsor. At the now famous Sotheby\'s sale of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor collection, there were two telephone buyers,HRH Prince Charles who was offerding on this brooch for Princess Diana and Elizabeth Taylor. Charles stopped at $500,000.00. Elizabeth won it for $550,000.00.
I tried to add a photo of Elizabeth wearing this now famous piece of jewelry. I couldn\'t find one big enough for to accept. If you google Elizabeth Taylor you will see images of her with this brooch. It is also in her book, \"My Love Affair With Jewelry\", one of my favorite books.
You can also goodle the Duchess of Windsor and see her with the original also.
Other jewelers have tried to copy this brooch. None has come close to the likeness and quality of ButlerWilson.
I tired and tired to take a good photograph. It is silver tone with pure, clean swarovski crystals. The camera kept picking up colors reflected in the stones.
I bought all the remaining brooches from Butler Wilson back in the early 1990\'s. This is my last one. It is in mint condition never having been worn.
