RARE SIGNED LASZLO ISPANKY USA LARGE PORCELAIN SCULPTURE FIGURINE -Laszlo Ispanky passed away on July 9, 2010.  A BEAUTIFUL LADY NAMED \'ANNABELLE LEE\' SEATED ON A ROCK WITH ORANGE & GREEN FLOWERS. VINTAGE 1970\'s LASZLO ISPANKY FLAWLESSLY DETAILED DECORATIVE PORCELAIN SCULPTURE: MADE IN PENNINGTON, NEW JERSEY, USA, (Doulton Co Exclusive Agents). CLOSED LIMITED EDITION FIGURINE(number 70/500). She is 8 1/2\" x 5 3/4\" x 14\" tall. Originally sold for $750. Mint condition, no damage, with certificate as pictured. Features Pensive introspective mood conveyed through facial expression and expressive body position. Amazing detailed figure. More from this collection on my other sales. ARTIST INFORMATION PER KOVELS: Ispanky figurines were designed by Laszlo Ispanky, who began his American career as a designer for Cybis Porcelains. In 1966, he established his own studio in Pennington, New Jersey; since 1976, he has worked for Goebel of North America. He works in stone, wood, metal, as well as porcelain. The first limited edition figurines were issued in 1966.
