Born in Hungary, Laszlo Ispanky moved to the United States in 1956. 10 years later in partnership with George Utley in Trenton, New Jersey, Laszlo began creating limited edition porcelain pieces. Shortly afterwards they moved the operation to Pennington, New Jersey, whereLaszlo would continue to create unique and rather stunning to the eye porcelain pieces until his passing in 2010 in Hopewell, NJ.

Bottom is stamped \'Ispanky Porcelains Made in USA. Ispank\'s signature is also underneath the piece in black marker.
