Late 17th/ Early 18th Century Onion Shaped Wine Bottle Low Countries:
$162.96

Up for sale is a wonderful survival: a Low Countries (probably Dutch) onion shaped blown glass wine bottle. The bottle dates from approximately 1680 to 1720. The colour is a deep olive green colour, almost black in low light.

There is a slight bloom to the surface as this bottle may possibly have been part of an archaeological deposit.

The bottle has a large, rough pontil scar, string rim finish to the opening and several bubble inclusions from the manufacturing process. I cannot detect any chips but please see the pictures to assure yourself regarding condition.

Approx height: 7 3/4\"

Approx base diameter: 5 1/4\"
