Using antique chocolate, ice cream and barley candy molds to create their originals, Judi Vaillancourt and the artisans of Vaillancourt Folk Art create stunning chalkware pieces that continue to delight collectors’ world wide! Some of the moulds they use are over 100 years old! Once the figurines are hand-painted, they come to life with the authentic look, feel and faces of a bygone era.

The Vaillancourt Folk Art studio is located in the historic 1826 Manchaug textile mill in Sutton Massachusetts, making these wonderful hand-crafted creations truly “Made in America”!

“Laughing Bunny”, was created using an antique chocolate mould-JKV, Holland. A sweet Easter Bunny laughs until his belly is about to burst! The painting and attention to detail that went into creating this whimsical piece is truly amazing. “Laughing Bunny” measures approximately 5 ½”. In mint condition from The Holiday Shop of Saratoga Springs store stock, this long retired piece was a new introduction for 2007.
