- This is a unique, handcrafted item to protect your axe head against damage, as well as yourself and others against accidental contact with the sharp cutting edge. Ideal for camping, hunting, survival, timber getting or simply everyday storage.
- This axe cover is styled on the very well known HUDSON BAY type cover, from the famous forestry area in the Hudson Bay area.
- Made from beautifull 3.5mm thick Brown genuine leather, completely hand stitched, right here in Australia, by myself, a leatherworker of about 35 years experience (see my other listings). Please note, depending on availability, the leather I use may differ slightly from batch to batch.Axe NOT INCLUDED. The cover in the photos is an example, I will custom make your cover according to the measurements supplied by you. I custom make every cover to fit your axe measurements.
- The buckle is stainless steel.
- Please notethe leather that I currently use is the same as the large cover in the very last photo. This is a high quality, vegetable tanned leather, used by saddlers, and the color istan. Also note that is not the axe cover for this listing, but only to show the color.
- Please note, when ordering give me the distance of the cutting edge, point to point across (straight line), and the longest measurement from cutting edge to flat at the back.
