Oh, how I love this piece! Anyone who knows me, knows I just cannot resist a bear of any kind and when I saw this piece I just had to have it, hold it in my hands, admire the wonderful workmanship and just slobber a little! If I could wear a belt (not practical for a hippo) I would definately be wearing this one! So, my loss and your gain! The tufa casting is marvelously done and the petroglyphs are so delicate and simply wonderful. To top it all off Lee has added a rare and beautiful piece of Lone Mountain Turquoise for the arrowhead on this heartline bear. Even the keeper and belt holder are hand crafted.
