This is the original art for page 3 ofLegends #2 which was penciled by John Byrne and inkedby the great Karl Kesel. The famous limited series \"Legends\" ran for six issues between 1986 and 1987 and was part of DC\'s crossover event of the same name. \"Legends\" was the first major crossover event in the DC Universe after \"Crisis on Infinite Earths\".
The page features one of the heroes of the series: Billy Batson (Captain Marvel) who is still traumatized from accidentally killing Macro-Man. This is a defining scene of the series as Glorious Godfrey convinces the spectators that heroes are lawless vigilantes and starts turning people against Earth\'s heroes.The art was created in 1986 and is in very nice condition (please see scan for details).The artwork will be mailed flat and sent via insured mail.
