This seems to be an early version of the rare, collectible, and expensive Leitz Ollux lens hood for the steel rimmed Leica 35mm f/1.4 lens - made by Leica Canada.
There is no Leica part # on this metal hood. This hood says only \" Leitz Canada\" & \" Ollux 1:1.4/35\" .
This is a rigid metal hood, in very good condition for its age - especially compared to other hoods that we\'ve seen in the marketplace. There is some slight wear & paint loss, from previous use, but not much.
We see this hood listed for sale at much higher prices, but we will start the offerding at a MUCH lower than what we\'ve seen - and see where the offerding takes us. We will ship this item with USPS Priority or EMS Express.
