This is a rare 2008 jacket that was copied from a 1930\'s jacket in the Levis archives.
It is very similar to the Einstein jacket (pictured) that recently sold for $147k, but with spade shaped buttoned patch pockets.
The russet goatskin is described as washed and hand buffed, it\'s a very convincing worn on a leather jacket, quite understated, just more shine on areas of wear. I believe it\'s done by hand with newspaper.
The buttons look like bakelite or caesin. There is no lining as per period jackets with buttoned cuffs and buckled to the to pit 24”
A beautiful jacket that looks period.
