~Antique Dog align=\"left\">This beautiful antique pug dog sports a red painted collar around his neck, has glass eyes, and is wonderfully modeled in a sitting position looking up at you with a woeful expression on his fabulous face.

Pug dogs were very popular late 19th to early 20th century as pets and ornaments, and were made in a variety of materials: composite, porcelain, bronze, terracotta, etc.Thisdog is made of some type of composite material to resembleterracotta or pottery. It is marked with a signature, but I can\'t make it out, please examine photos. The condition is very good with only minor age/color wear.A beautiful pug todisplay!

Measures about 11\" tall and 8 1/2\" wide.
