From a local estate, Large Vintage Paper Mache Easter Egg Candy Container featuring Rooster, Hen, Chicks, andBlue Birds ~ Made in German Democratic Republic!Cute! There is not an inside lip on either half resulting in egg not completely closing. It does not appear as though there ever was one, and I believe originally, the egg was taped together (see photo 3). I do not consider this as a \"defect\" as I believe it is as originally manufactured; however,I dofeel the need to callthis to your attention.Measures appx. 7 x 4 1/2\".Several other similar eggs are in separate listings.A great addition to your Easter Decoration collection!
