Liberty & Co. Sterling Silver and Enamel Decorated Spoons and Forks:

A collection of six tea/dessert spoons, six custard spoons and six cake forks (18 pieces in all) manufactured by Liberty & Co. and Birmingham hallmarked for year 1927 on custard spoons, 1928 on tea/dessert spoons, and 1924(one) and 1928(five) on cake forks. The custards spoons are 5 1/8\" long, tea/dessert spoons are 4 3/8\" and the cake forks are 5 1/8\" long. The design is attributed to Archibald Knox. The enamel work is complete on all pieces, no chips, and only minor wear to the silver commensurate with age. Note that the enamel work on the one 1924 cake fork is slightly moreturquoise. All pieces polished by hand and ready for use......a wonderful art nouveau design.
