Blade: Stainless Raindrop Damascus- Mike Norris

Hand forged Damascus created from multiple alloys of stainless steel. This beautiful material is heat treated to Rockwall 58-59 for excellent sharpness and edge retention. As with any high performace blade, clean and dry after use.

Frame: Raindrop mokume

Translating to \"wood grain metal\" from Japanese, where the technique was invented, our Mokume is hand forged from 89 separate layers of cooper, nickle silver, and brass. We use a special patina to bring out the range of colors and pattern; this patina evolves or responds with use, becoming lighter and darker and changing with age.

Scale/Inlay: Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is high tech, lightweight, and nearly impervious to the elements. We use only solid basket weave carbon fiber from aerospace manufacture for our products. No special care is required on this material.

Gemstone: Smoky Quartz

This piece features premium natural gemstones, precision cut and set in an 18k gold bezels. The gems are mechanically captured in our stainless fittings, and will last a lifetime and more. No special care is required.

Fittings

The fittings/fasteners on this knife are custom fabricated to our specifications from stainless steel and titanium. the lanyard bail and beads are sterling silver paired with braided leather cord, and the ClipCase carrying system is crafted from lined ostrich leather with tempered stainless steel clip.
