This is a tiny figural Limoges collectible in the style of an 18th Century (1700s) shoe. The front buckle has a gold transfer of a flower - perhaps a pimpernel? ;) However, the stylized blossom has six petals. The high, wide tongue is sitting upright and there is gold overlay trim over a deep cobalt glaze. Diminutive piece, measures about 1.5/8\" toe to heel.
