Beautiful porcelain egg measuring 4” H by 2¾” D. I purchased thishand painted piece 15 years ago. It is intricatelydetailed in 18K paint all over the outside of the egg against a pale yellow.There are cobalt blue highlights throughout. The 18K paint continues inside tothe underside of the top cover. There is a gold-colored stand or shelf in thecenter of the egg in which to display a tinytreasure if you wish. There is also a movable arm inside the egg to keep the coverof the egg propped-open if you want to display the richly painted gold interior.There is a gold-colored metal rim around the bottom lip of the porcelain for protection.At the very bottom of the piece is the Limoges stamp of authenticity and artist’ssignature. I think its numbered 75 but can’t be sure. I leave that up to thebuyer to determine. It comes with the original box and COA. All in excellentcondition. Exquisite piece in any room.
