Lincoln mint, 1972 First Issue annual Mother\'s Day Plate, 18K Gold Plated on SS:
$89.00

This is a 1972 Annual Mother\'s Day Plate, produced by The Lincoln Mint. I don\'t really know a whole lot about this item other than it is the first in a series of limited edition Mother\'s Day Plates, struck by the Lincoln Mint in 18k gold plated on sterling silver. The design is beautifully sculptured in bas-relief by internationally renowned sculptor Alfred Brunettin from a painting by James Franzen. Collie and puppies.
Starting the listing low, because it appears to have tarnish marks on the plate around the rim, it is missing a certificate of authenticity and because it is still in the original plastic the condition on the back side of the plate is unknown. The box has some tape and other marks on it (see photos). This plate does come with what appears to be a certificate of some sort. I have 3 in total for sale 2 silver and 1 gold (other sales) willing to combine shipping.
