This is the work of Edward Norton and Luman Preston Norton, the son of Julius Norton, who worked together in the family pottery from 1861-1881. They made these jugs for the Centennial of 1876.This beauty sports Incised Script Writing and Stands only 3\" Tall.It is in great shape with very fine detail.
