10 of the 14 volume Loeb Classical Library Livy! Here are volumes 5-14 only--VOLUMES 1-4 ARE MISSING. At the end of each of these 10 books there are maps to go along with the text--very neat!
These are all in nice shape, though they are a bit older. They were all published between 1965 and 1972, I believe--in Great Britain. As you can see, all dust jackets are intact (all are price-clipped on at least one corner) with standard wear (some minor bends and tears, dents, light scratches, etc.). As for the books themselves, I do not believe that they were ever used--the spines are all very tight as if they have have only ever been opened as far as the cover. Except for a few stray marks on the outsides of the volumes (see pictures), I noted no writing or highlighting--not even at the early pages/inside covers. No stickers except for the original price stickers on the flaps. Any wear to the books themselves is, I believe, only from handling and maybe being jostled a bit. There is standard scuffing, bumping of corners, a few slightly bent pages, etc. Nothing too bad. Really a nice bunch of books--let me know if you have any questions at all about them.
