Up for sale at the Grand Antique Mall, located in Cincinnati, Ohio is a Rare J. Lladro AUTOGRAPHED Lladro Porcelain Sculpture, “Woman Riding a Horse” Autographed on the bottom, in black ink, by Lladro owner and artist Juan Lladro. Other hallmarks include the blue bellflower stamp and “Daisa” copyright beneath; this is Lladro\'s 5th Mark, dating the sculpture to 1977-1984. Also engraved on the bottom are both the signature of the sculptor, Garcia Fulgencio, and the sequence F-29A (see photos). This is Lladro #4516.

The sculpture features a young woman riding sidesaddle.The leather reins — as well as the entire piece — are in MINT condition.

The Lladro Company was founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladro, in the village of Almàssera near Valencia. Starting with items such as vases and jugs, it wasn\'t until 1956 that the company started creating the sculptures for which they are now most famous.

A glorious — and fragile! — sculpture for any room.
