I received many retired pieces from a client who wishes for me to sell for her. All I know about Lladro is that they are amazingly made, wonderful to look at and if I had the room I would have many in this collection for my own.This one is titled Curious Angel. She was issued way back in 1977 and retired in 1992. The sculptor was Salvador Debon. She stands 9 1/2 inches tall by 4 3/4.This is what I see when I look at the angel (like this is important?) is a timid girl who ventured out in the dark, (she is carrying a lantern) wanting to check things out. I love her ruffled collar which makes me think she is a young girl who hasn\'t had time to experience everything in life, but there to help. Pure creamy white porcelain with gray trimmed lantern and shoes. Just a special piece.Everything is perfect and ready to be displayed.I will be listing many more, so check back as they are all retired.
