Up for sale today is a five chime brass step-top locomotive whistle. From the Monon Railroad.It is 6\" diameter and shows no signs of physical damage. There are no cracks, welds, repairs, visible and all fins are intact. The whistle has 2\" fine boiler thread male inlet and will require an adaptor to 2\" NPT. I had several made up are available after the sale at a reasonable cost. The valve is a 2\" vertical valve and is free and tight. The whistle has C, I and L stamped onto the bowl which is Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville.
