From the estate of the late Dave Higgenbotham, owner operator of the Lone Star Rifle Company, one steel butt plate casting. If this butt plate looks familiar ,it should. Dave took an original E. Remington and Sons plate, changed the E in the logo to a highly scripted L by removing the middle horizontal bar then reproduced the plate. The mounting screw holes are located but not drilled through. The plates are cast by Thompson Center. The detail is terrific. An easy part to finish. This butt plate weighs 10 ounces. E. Remington & Sons was an active Company until 1888 when it sold from the New York bankruptcy court to Marcus Hartley and became Remington Arms Company. The plate will ship via USPS small flat rate box.
