This beautiful Victorian mourning scarf is made of ribbon worked into tassel and swag-like patterns and backed in places with a sheer black fabric. It is very long - 90 inches (counting the fringe) and 14 1/2 inches high at the peaks. I\'ve included photos of a model to show how it looks on. It\'s unusually long and narrow, and I\'m not sure whether to call it a stole, scarf or lappet. It could have been draped over the head or a hat. Except for tangled fringe, it\'s in excellent condition
